Overworked and tired, Paige conjures Mr. Right to help her relieve some tension and unwittingly releases his evil twin (Vincent) in the process. He appeals to Paige's dark desires to lure her to help him get rid of the sisters. Meanwhile, Chris is arrested after an encounter with Vincent and finds that Darryl is no longer willing to help them out. ========================== CHARMED 6X20: A WRONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO RIGHT ========================== FADE IN: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- NIGHT] (We open on a large white poster board filled with a newspaper clipping with the headline, "Federal Inquiry Clears Deputy in Fight"; slips of note papers labeled "Demon #4" and "Evidence #3"; a slip of paper with "Bar-gura, Powerful ape-like demons", a large red "X" through it and a long black line leading from it to somewhere off camera; a strip of reptilian-like skin and a tarot card are all pinned to the board.) (The camera moves down the poster board and we note other items attached to the board: a small black pouch, another slip of paper with "Succubus, Sexual predator demons", a large red "X" through it and a long black line leading from it to somewhere off the camera. The note is labeled "DEMON #9". There are some leaves attached to the board with a tattered slip of cloth labeled "EVIDENCE #2".) (In the center of the board is a piece of paper with a huge red question mark on it.) (In the back of the attic, there is another large poster board just as filled with paper and other notes.) (PAIGE stands in front of this poster board holding a piece of paper. She stares at the poster board thinking.) (Camera goes back to the slip of paper with "Succubus" on it, then moves down to another slip of paper with "Vortex Minion, Upper level demon with energy magic". This, too, has a large red "X" through it.) (She puts the paper she's holding down and we see she's holding a soft drink can in her hand. Her attention is on the poster board in front of her.) PAIGE: (mumbles to herself) Come on. I know we can figure this out. PHOEBE: (yawns) You've been saying that for three weeks now. (PAIGE turns around and puts her empty soft drink can on the table. There are papers, charts and other books open on the table. In the back of the attic near the second poster board is PHOEBE, lying on the sofa, her head on the arm rest, a blanket covering her.) PAIGE: Lady, can I get a little help over here, please? PHOEBE: Ok, but you don't have to yell at me. I feel bad enough as it is. (PAIGE sighs and rubs her forehead.) PAIGE: Look, it's not your fault that the demon is one step ahead of us. PHOEBE: Yeah, but if I hadn't lost my powers, we would have found him by now. PAIGE: Well, you did, so we just ... have to keep doing what we're doing. PHOEBE: You mean what you've been doing, which is pretty much everything around here. (PHOEBE sits up and puts the blanket aside.) You're like the last sister standing. I don't know how you're doing it. (PAIGE rolls her eyes and shrugs her shoulders.) PAIGE: I've just been taking lots of naps. PHOEBE: Yeah, I've noticed. (PHOEBE gets to her feet and walks over to PAIGE'S poster board.) PHOEBE: You know, part of me just thinks we should let him do his thing, you know? I mean, a demon killing other demons? Is that so bad? PAIGE: Well, it is when we don't know who it is or why they're doing it. You know, it could be some sort of power base coming along to take us on. PHOEBE: Yeah. Should we get Piper out of magic school? (PHOEBE turns to look at PAIGE.) PAIGE: No, she's safe there. She stays. (PHOEBE turns back to the poster board.) PHOEBE: There's just no rhyme or reason to his attacks. You know, they're just wacky. (PAIGE sighs and turns to look at the wall charts of the planet's rotation around the sun and other astrological charts.) PAIGE: My gut says he's gonna go after the Smoker Demons tonight. PHOEBE: Why? PAIGE: Because mercury is in retrograde, and that is when they surface. PHOEBE: It's an interesting theory. (PAIGE turns back to the table and picks up the scrying crystal.) PAIGE: Yeah, well, all I know is that the sooner we nail this guy, the sooner I get back to my naps. (PAIGE starts swinging the scrying crystal over the map.) CUT TO: [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - NIGHT] [EXT. SAN FRANCISCO CITY LIGHTS (STOCK) - NIGHT] [EXT. CHURCH - NIGHT] [INT. CHURCH - SANCTUARY -- NIGHT] (FATHER WILKINS walks into the hallway to the sanctuary. He puts his folders down on the counter, lightly dips his fingertips in the dish of holy water and crosses himself.) (Behind him without his knowing, a white gaseous cloud of smoke slips into the sanctuary under the stained glass window. (The cloud of smoke rises upward and solidifies into two SMOKER DEMONS, two creatures made entirely of smoke and wearing black robes. FATHER WILKINS is oblivious to their presence behind him.) (The SMOKER DEMONS take a step forward toward FATHER WILKINS.) (Two blonde-haired leather-clad women appear in front of the SMOKER DEMONS. They each throw a fireball at the SMOKER DEMONS who burn up in flames.) (FATHER WILKINS turns around and sees the two SMOKER DEMONS explode.) FATHER WILKINS: Dear God. (The two WOMEN turn around to look at the FATHER.) DEMONATRIX 1: Not quite. Guess again. (demon-voice) Run! (FATHER WILKINS turns and runs out of the hallway. The two WOMEN giggle at each other.) DEMONATRIX 2: Potions worked pretty well, but I still don't know why we didn't use it on the old man instead. DEMONATRIX 1: Because we were told not to. Now let's just get out of here before ... (Behind them, PAIGE and PHOEBE orb in. The DEMONATRIX turn around.) DEMONATRIX 1: ... They show up. PAIGE: Nuns? (Each DEMONATRIX holds what looks like a modified shuriken three-pointed star in their hand. They grip the star and it opens to six points.) PHOEBE: (shakes her head) Mm, I don't think so. (DEMONATRIX 1 throws her star at PAIGE. The star cuts the candle on the table between them in two. PAIGE orbs out and the star passes through her. DEMONATRIX 2 throws her star at PHOEBE. PHOEBE ducks and the star hits the dish on the table, ricochets and hits the angel statue on the side.) (PAIGE re-orbs back into the room.) (DEMONATRIX 1 throws another star at PHOEBE who is still down on the ground. PAIGE sees the attack and waves her hand at the flying weapon.) PAIGE: Weapon thingy! (The star orbs away from PHOEBE and shoots back at DEMONATRIX 2 hitting her square in the chest.) (DEMONATRIX 2 is vanquished in a wall of flames. DEMONATRIX 1 glares at them, then vanishes out of the room.) (PAIGE helps PHOEBE to her feet.) PHOEBE: Thanks for saving my life again. PAIGE: Yeah, no problem. Well, at least we got a good look at who's behind this. And better yet ... (PAIGE walks over to the wall and picks off the star left by the DEMONATRIX.) PAIGE: ... a clue to find them. PHOEBE: Yeah, they gotta be working for someone else. I mean, what powerful demons do you know that would dress that tacky? PAIGE: Good point. PAIGE: Uh, I'll go check the Book of Shadows. PHOEBE: No. (PHOEBE takes the star from PAIGE.) You've done enough already. I want to do it. You just go home and relax, take a load off. PAIGE: Ok, if you insist. I, uh, I think I will. CUT TO: [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - NIGHT] [INT. MANOR - PAIGE'S ROOM - NIGHT] (The bedroom door opens and PAIGE steps inside the darkened room. She closes the door and turns the light on. She turns around and looks at the empty carpet and waves her hand.) PAIGE: Candles. (Three summoning candles appear in a wide triangle on the carpet. PAIGE takes the lighter off her table top and lights the candles. As she does, she recites the spell.) PAIGE: The perfect man I summon now, another way I don't know how, bring him now into the light, come back to me, Mr. Right. (The candle flames flare and white orbs from all three candles converge in the center of the carpet. They rise, swirl around and grow brighter till finally the orbs dissipates leaving MR. RIGHT standing in the center of the carpet. He's wearing a white shirt, dark pants and looking as handsome as ever.) (He smiles at PAIGE.) PAIGE: (smiling) Welcome back. FADE TO END OF TEASER ROLL TITLE CREDITS (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [EXT. VARIOUS SAN FRANCISCO CITY (STOCK) -- DAY] [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - DAY] [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- DAY] (PHOEBE sits at the table. Letters for her advice column is spread out across the top. In her hands, she holds her note pad as she reads what she's written so far.) PHOEBE: (sighs) "Dear Sad in San Jose: Try Viagra." (She puts the notepad down and rips the paper off, crumples it into a ball and tosses it over her shoulder. Dejected and tired, she puts her forehead down on her crossed arms.) (LEO walks into the attic behind her and sees her frustration.) PHOEBE: (groans) That's horrible. (He pauses a moment.) LEO: Long night? (Surprised that he's there, PHOEBE quickly raises her head and looks at him.) PHOEBE: Leo! Yeah. Hey, I'm just working on trying to find that mystery demon. Trying to come up with some summoning spells. LEO: Any luck? PHOEBE: No, but I gave that thing that they threw at us to Chris, hoping he could get a lead with the underworld contacts, you know? LEO: Hmm. (He looks down and picks up one of PHOEBE'S discarded pieces of paper wadded into a ball. He opens it.) LEO: (reading) "Dear Sad in San Jose: If your husband is impotent, try a cold shower." Nice spell. (PHOEBE grabs the paper out from LEO'S hands.) PHOEBE: Give me that. Don't ask. (She sits down on the floor and picks up the various paper balls, placing them in the nearby trash. LEO sits down in PHOEBE'S abandoned seat at the table.) LEO: I'm asking. What's the matter? PHOEBE: I don't know. I just feel like I can't do anything anymore. And I'm beginning to think that maybe I relied on my powers more than I realized. LEO: Well, your advice comes from your heart, not from your powers. Besides, you were an advice columnist long before you were an empath. PHOEBE: Yeah, and before that, I was a witch. And before that, I don't remember what the hell I was. And I'm afraid I'm right back to where I started again. LEO: Just because you don't have your active power anymore doesn't mean you're not a witch. You can still write spells, make potions, kick ass. You'll find your way again. You just have to be patient. PHOEBE: You promise? LEO: I promise. And it wouldn't hurt to rely on Paige for a while. She relied on you for years. Where is she, by the way? PHOEBE: She's sleeping, and don't wake her. She's exhausted. She was tossing and turning all night last night. (There's a soft thump coming from downstairs.) CUT TO: [INT MANOR - PAIGE'S ROOM - DAY -- CONTINUOUS] (PAIGE and MR. RIGHT are under the bed covers.) PAIGE: (whispers) Shh, shh, shh, quiet. If my sisters find out, they'll -- MR. RIGHT: Kill you? (PAIGE nods.) I know. Don't worry. (They both pull the bed covers over their heads.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - DAY -- CONTINUOUS] (LEO walks over to the Book of Shadows and reaches for it.) LEO: Ok, so what did that throwing thing look like? PHOEBE: It's not in the Book. I checked. Besides, I really want to do this without your help, ok? LEO: Well, I came down here to help, remember? At least until the baby's born. PHOEBE: Yeah, and what's gonna happen after the baby's born? LEO: What do you mean? PHOEBE: Between you and Piper. Have you guys even discussed it? LEO: Uh ...not exactly. (PHOEBE sends him a look and he caves.) Ok. Not at all. It's just things keep getting in the way. PHOEBE: (chuckles) Well, Leo, you can't just get the woman pregnant and then pretend like nothing happened. LEO: I'm not, ok? It's just -- it's complicated. PHOEBE: Yeah, but it's not gonna get any less complicated after Chris is born. (CHRIS orbs into the attic.) CHRIS: You talking about me? PHOEBE: No. Your fetus. Did you find something? CHRIS: Not something. Someone. Demonatrix. PHOEBE: (chuckles) Chris, what you do in your spare time - CHRIS: (interrupts) The weapon you found belongs to a group of deadly assassins known as Demon-Atrix. PHOEBE: Ohhh. LEO: Did you find out who they work for? CHRIS: No, but, Leo, check this- PHOEBE: (corrects) "Dad". (CHRIS stops and looks at PHOEBE.) PHOEBE: (persists) Would it kill you to call him "Dad"? CHRIS: (ignores her) Apparently, this demon gives his assassins vanquishing potions, Charmed Ones' vanquishing potions. PHOEBE: What? How is that possible? CHRIS: The book? LEO: No, they wouldn't be able to get near it. CHRIS: Well, then how? LEO: One of them must be reading your minds, like the telepath did at magic school. (At the mention of "magic school", PHOEBE is instantly concerned. She turns to look at CHRIS.) PHOEBE: Magic school. (CHRIS gets it, equally concerned.) CHRIS: Mom. I'd better go check on her. LEO: No, we'll go. You get underground. See if you can follow the assassins to the demon. CHRIS: But -- LEO: No, we'll take care of it. We'll make sure nothing happens to her, Chris. I promise. (CHRIS nods, then orbs out of the attic. When he's gone, PHOEBE turns to LEO.) PHOEBE: I'll go wake up Paige. (She hops off her chair to leave the attic.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - PAIGE'S ROOM - DAY - CONTINUOUS] (PAIGE and MR. RIGHT kiss on the bed. A knock on the door interrupts them. PAIGE abruptly pulls away and turns to look at the closed door.) PAIGE: (loudly) Uh, just a minute! (She pushes MR. RIGHT off the bed. He tumbles to the floor with a thud. PAIGE gathers the bed covers just as the door to her room opens.) PHOEBE: Sweetie, I'm sorry to wake you up. PAIGE: Oh, no. I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, I'm up. PHOEBE: Leo and I are gonna go to magic school and check on Piper. PAIGE: Is she ok? PHOEBE: Yeah! Yeah, she's fine. She's fine. Don't worry about her. We'll let you know if we need you. We'll call you, ok? PAIGE: Ok. PHOEBE: Ok, go back to bed. (PHOEBE backs out and closes the door.) (MR. RIGHT appears from the side of the bed. He grins at PAIGE.) MR. RIGHT: (enthusiastically) My thoughts exactly. (He climbs up the bed and crawls over to her.) PAIGE: Uh... (He laughs.) PAIGE: I really, really do have to go. MR. RIGHT: She said not to worry about it, so ... don't. PAIGE: I can't help it. MR. RIGHT: Yes, you can. That's why you made me, to focus on yourself for once. PAIGE: But I still have responsibilities. MR. RIGHT: Yes, to yourself as well. To your raison d'etre, which if you keep ignoring, you're gonna be useless to your sisters. (He leans forward and kisses PAIGE on her forehead. She chuckles.) PAIGE: I think I made you with too many pheromones. MR. RIGHT: No. You made me to understand you, to pamper you, to fill your every neglected need. PAIGE: Yeah, but what I really need is - MR. RIGHT: ... a vacation. (He gets up off the bed and stands up as he thinks about the vacation.) Driving through Tuscany ... topless. PAIGE: Topless? MR. RIGHT: Not you. The porsche. With the wind in your hair, the sun on your face. Free, unburdened, loved. PAIGE: (chuckles) Ok. Keep going. MR. RIGHT: Someday, I promise, I'll take you away from all this, but right now you need to eat. (He waves his hand and a breakfast tray appears in front of PAIGE complete with a single red rose.) PAIGE: Wow. MR. RIGHT: Voila! Just the way you like it. PAIGE: Wait a second. You can do magic? MR. RIGHT: I can do everything that you made me do, remember? PAIGE: Well, then, I don't mind if I do. (Looking at him, she reaches for a slice of Strawberry off of the tray and takes a bite out of it.) WHITE FLASH TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR] (VINCENT turns away from the poster board. VINCENT looks exactly like MR. RIGHT, only his hair is slicked back and he's wearing a black shirt and pants. He turns and addresses the group of blonde-haired, leather-clad DEMONATRICES.) VINCENT: Three weeks ago, I came to you, and what did - What did I say? (As he speaks, he walks up to the closest DEMONATRIX. He grabs her from behind her head, his grip wrapping around the back of her neck. She grimaces.) VINCENT: What was the first thing I told you? (He looks at the other women. No one answers him.) VINCENT: Anyone? (He walks down the line looking at them.) VINCENT: No? Let me remind you. Trust me. Trust in me and my raison d'etre. But one of you did not. (He stops in front of DEMONATRIX 1 from the teaser.) VINCENT: I specifically told you the smoker demons would make their move when mercury was in retrograde. (yells, furious) And I told you! The sisters would figure that out. DEMONATRIX 1: I'm sorry, Vincent. You know that I live only to please you. VINCENT: Shut up. (He steps back and up and down the line of DEMONATRICES. He turns his attention back to DEMONATRIX 1 as he starts to recite the spell.) VINCENT: (recites) What once resided in this place shall soon be gone with no haste. Make this girl age in time as punishment for her heinous crime. (The DEMONATRIX quickly ages, her corpse crumbling into a cloud of dust.) VINCENT: Well ... any questions? (No one says anything. He waits a beat, then continues.) VINCENT: No? Good. To reiterate ... (He turns and heads to the cave opening that leads into a replica of the Attic. He caresses ELISA'S cheek on his way out.) VINCENT: I don't want the sisters finding me. Especially Paige. Not until I'm ready. (He stops in the attic. ELISA follows him. She stops right behind him, her hand boldly caressing his shoulder.) ELISA: Which demon are we after next? VINCENT: Not a demon. A porsche. CUT TO: [INT. MAGIC SCHOOL - GREAT HALL -- DAY] (In the great hall, PIPER sits on the couch with a large open book on a pillow on her lap. She has a notepad in her hand and a stack of books on the side of her as well as on the table in front of her.) (SIGMUND floats in the air behind her enabling him to see the titles of the books on the highest wall bookshelf. He turns around to look at PIPER.) SIGMUND: Sorry, Piper. It must be checked out. Can I come down now? PIPER: Not yet. Check Lazardo's "Book of Prophecies", Volume One. SIGMUND: Ok. (He floats a little lower and sighs nervously as he floats along the wall to get to the book shelves on the other side of the open door. He motions with his hands as he looks at PIPER.) SIGMUND: Levitating, not my favorite. It's very ... high. (He clears his throat and turns his attention to the books on the shelves. PHOEBE and LEO orb into the Great Hall.) PHOEBE: Surprise! PIPER: Hey. Hi. I didn't know you guys were coming. (PHOEBE grins at PIPER.) PIPER: Is something wrong? PHOEBE: No, why would something be wrong? Does something have to be wrong for me to come visit my sister? (SIGMUND finds an old book and blows the layer of dust off of it.) PIPER: Usually. (SIGMUND turns around, looks at PIPER and clears his throat to get her attention.) SIGMUND: Sorry to interrupt. (He motions to the Book he's holding.) PIPER: Oh, good. You found it. Float on down. (SIGMUND slowly levitates down as PHOEBE watches enviously. She turns to look at LEO.) PHOEBE: (mutters) Ah, the good old days. LEO: (whispers) We don't want to worry her, remember? PHOEBE: (through her teeth) Yes, I know. (PIPER pushes past them and heads for SIGMUND. PHOEBE turns back around and smiles.) PHOEBE: So ... whatcha been doing? PIPER: Oh, you know, same old-same old. Trying to figure out who turns Wyatt evil. By the way, have you seen Chris? LEO: Uh, Yeah, actually, we have him working on something. PHOEBE: But nothing big, you know. Nothing to worry about. Just your everyday demon stuff. PIPER: Huh. Ok. Well, if you see him, tell him I'd like to talk to him when he has a chance. (PIPER hands the book back to SIGMUND and heads out of the room.) PHOEBE: Wait, where're you going? PIPER: To pee. (PIPER leaves. PHOEBE turns to look at LEO.) PHOEBE: Where do we start? LEO: Sigmund, is Gideon around? SIGMUND: No. He's conferring with the other Elders, which, if I may say so, is where you should be, too. (PHOEBE takes a huge step forward toward SIGMUND and dramatically grabs his right shoulder placing her palms flat against his school robes. He looks at her strangely.) SIGMUND: Can I help you? (PHOEBE looks at SIGMUND.) PHOEBE: (mutters) Just trying to get a premonition, see if you're legit. (SIGMUND looks helplessly at LEO who steps forward to help him.) LEO: Phoebe, you don't have premonitions anymore. (She lets go of SIGMUND and takes a step back, resuming her place next to LEO.) PHOEBE: It doesn't hurt to try it. (She whacks LEO'S arm for stating the obvious. SIGMUND looks around awkwardly for a moment. LEO clears his throat to get back to what they were discussing.) LEO: Sigmund, have you noticed any breaches in security? Students, teachers, anyone suspicious? SIGMUND: None that I know of, why? LEO: Never mind. Uh ... just keep an eye out, especially around Piper. SIGMUND: Of course. (SIGMUND turns and quickly leaves the Great Hall.) PHOEBE: Do you believe him? LEO: No reason not to, which means the demon could be tapping into your mind or Paige's. PHOEBE: All right, I'll go back to the house and keep an eye on Paige. (She hints to LEO.) You stay here, and maybe you and Piper can talk. (LEO turns and looks away briefly. PHOEBE stays put and tightly shuts her eyes. LEO turns back and sees PHOEBE trying to will something to happen. He laughs.) LEO: What are you doing? PHOEBE: I'm trying to orb. LEO: You don't orb. PHOEBE: Now is not the time to rub that in. A little help here, please? (LEO waves his hand and orbs PHOEBE out of the Great Hall.) (PIPER returns to the Great Hall just in time to see PHOEBE leave.) PIPER: Hey, where'd she go? LEO: Back to work. Deadlines. (PIPER looks at LEO and a wisp of a smile forms on her lips.) LEO: Um, can I help? (She smiles.) CUT TO: [EXT. SPELLMAN AUTOMOTIVE - PARKING LOT - DAY] (The SALESMAN notices VINCENT checking out the Porsche and immediately starts into his pitch. He walks around the car toward VINCENT and ELISA.) SALESMAN: Ah, the Carrera S-4. Excellent choice. Turbo styling, all wheel drive, zero to sixty in under five seconds. You want to feel the wind in your face? This is definitely the car for you. VINCENT: May I? (The SALESMAN opens the driver's side door for VINCENT.) SALESMAN: Oh, absolutely ... although I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to put that out first. (He points to the slim cigarette in VINCENT'S hand. VINCENT turns and hands it to ELISA.) VINCENT: Of course. SALESMAN: Thank you. (VINCENT slips into the car seat and starts the engine.) SALESMAN: Beautiful, isn't it? No other car sounds like it. VINCENT: She'll love it. We'll take it. SALESMAN: Excellent. Cash or lease? (ELISA laughs and steps in close to the SALESMAN.) ELISA: No, we'll just take it. SALESMAN: What? (ELISA grabs the SALESMAN by his suit lapels and throws him high up and across the parking lot. VINCENT sees him fly backward.) VINCENT: No! (He looks around and motions with his hand.) VINCENT: Rolls! (The Rolls parked nearby orbs out and re-orbs in the center of the lot right under the SALESMAN. He lands in the back seat with a thud. ELISA crosses her arms as she sees him saved.) VINCENT: I told you. We don't hurt innocents. CUE: ORB SOUND CHRIS: (o.s.) Now, that's a new one. (ELISA turns and sees CHRIS standing in front of the Porsche. VINCENT turns and double-takes as he recognizes CHRIS.) VINCENT: You?! (He steps on the gas, gunning the engine. He shifts the car into gear and takes off, the car moving forward straight into CHRIS. CHRIS orbs out and the car passes through him.) (CHRIS re-orbs into the lot. He turns and looks at ELISA who disappears.) (CHRIS looks down and sees the slim cigarette on the ground. He picks it up and rushes into the nearby car to pursue VINCENT.) (He starts the engine, puts the car in gear and takes off after VINCENT.) (CHRIS follows VINCENT when suddenly, with a smirk, VINCENT orbs the entire Porsche out of view. CHRIS' car continues to speed forward out onto the road only to find a police car blocking his path, its siren turning on and off.) (CHRIS sighs and rests his head on the wheel as the POLICE OFFICERS exit the vehicle.) (Just then, the SALESMAN rushes out onto the street.) SALESMAN: (shouts) Stop him! He's trying to steal it! (CHRIS turns to look back at the SALESMAN. The OFFICER looks from the SALESMAN to CHRIS.) OFFICERS: Don't move. CHRIS: (groans) Ohh, unbelievable. (CHRIS raises his hands in the air.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- DAY] (PHOEBE is pacing the floor while on the phone.) PHOEBE: (to phone) I promise I will have the column in by the deadline. Uh- huh, yeah. I'm finishing up. (CHRIS orbs in. She turns around and sees CHRIS.) PHOEBE: (to phone) I gotta go. Tick-tock, tick-tock. (She hangs up and puts the phone down on the table.) Finally. Where have you been? (CHRIS backs up slowly.) CHRIS: Jail. PHOEBE: What?! (PHOEBE rushes toward him as he takes a seat at the table.) CHRIS: Don't worry. It's fine. Nobody saw me orb out. I talked to Darryl. He's gonna cover for me. PHOEBE: Yeah, but - how'd you end up in jail? CHRIS: Let's say I had a little run-in with our mystery demon, and when I say run-in, I mean literally. The guy, he tried to run me over with his porsche. Not cool. PHOEBE: A demon that drives a porsche? That's different. CHRIS: So is one who can orb and wants to save innocents. (CHRIS picks up the scrying crystal and starts moving it over the map open on the table.) PHOEBE: Forget tapping into us. Sounds like he wants to be us. CHRIS: Why? PHOEBE: Why else? To kill us. (Suddenly, the crystal falls on a spot on the map.) PHOEBE: Did you find him? Where is he? CHRIS: Yeah. He's here. PHOEBE: Here? Where here? CHRIS: (thinking) Paige. (Both he and PHOEBE rush out of the attic.) [INT. MANOR - PAIGE'S ROOM - DAY - CONTINUOUS] (The door opens. CHRIS and PHOEBE rush into the bedroom.) PHOEBE: Paige, are you-- (PHOEBE stops. PAIGE opens her eyes and sees them standing there.) (MR. RIGHT is sitting behind PAIGE, his hands stop massaging her shoulders.) PHOEBE: What are you doing? (MR. RIGHT looks up. CHRIS immediately recognizes him.) CHRIS: You! PAIGE: Uh ... just, uh, napping? (PHOEBE turns around and walks out of the room.) (Camera holds on PAIGE.) FADE OUT (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [INT. MANOR - STAIRS / MAIN HALL / SITTING ROOM -- DAY] (PHOEBE is absolutely furious. She rushes down the stairs, PAIGE follows her, trying to keep up. CHRIS follows them both; MR. RIGHT is just behind him.) PHOEBE: Paige, I don't even wanna talk about this. How could you do such a thing? PAIGE: Oh, what? Like you've never conjured stuff before. PHOEBE: Well, never for myself and never a ... (She turns to look at MR. RIGHT.) ... sex toy. MR. RIGHT: I am not a sex toy. PHOEBE: Quiet, you. PAIGE: Well, we did it for Piper before. PHOEBE: Yes, but that was different. We were trying to convince her to not give up on love. We were desperate. PAIGE: Well, maybe I am, too. CHRIS: Excuse me. Shouldn't we be focusing on the bigger issue here? (He points to MR. RIGHT.) PHOEBE: How long has this been going on? PAIGE: Like three weeks. PHOEBE: Three weeks? PAIGE: Give or take. PHOEBE: Ach. PAIGE: You're the one who kept telling me I needed a break. PHOEBE: Yes, but I meant take a day off, you know? Go to the spa, have a pedicure, get a massage. MR. RIGHT: I massage her. (PHOEBE starts gagging at the thought.) CHRIS: (to PHOEBE) Breathe. (to EVERYONE) Ok, what I wanna know is how come when we were scrying for the demon, we got him instead? PAIGE: (shrugs) I don't know. CHRIS: You might wanna know because he looks a lot like the guy who just tried to kill me. PAIGE: What? That is impossible. PHOEBE: Didn't the demons start killing the other demons around the same time? PAIGE: I'm telling you there's no way he's a demon. I made him to be good. PHOEBE: Maybe you also made one to be bad. I don't know. PAIGE: No. PHOEBE: How do you explain the scrying, then? CHRIS: And the fact he makes potions and has your powers? Talk about your personal gain consequences ... PAIGE: Personal gain. I am so tired. If I hear those two words again, I tell you what -- (She stops and crosses her arms indignantly in front of her.) MR. RIGHT: Nevertheless, it's there for a reason. It's why Phoebe lost her powers. (He crosses his arms also. PAIGE slowly turns to look at him.) PAIGE: Whose side are you on? MR. RIGHT: I know what you know, Paige, and we both know they're right. PHOEBE: Wow. Did you conjure him or clone him? CHRIS: Ok, this is so stupid. Why don't we unconjure him so they'll both go away? PAIGE: I can't. I made him to last for 24 hours. Spell's not done yet. CHRIS: Mmm. Great. So how long do we have to wait? PAIGE: Till after midnight. PHOEBE: Well, let's just hope we find him before he finds us. (The door bell rings. Phoebe turns to answer it.) PHOEBE: Hmm. Maybe that's another one of your suitors you've conjured for your own personal gain and pleasure. PAIGE: (to PHOEBE'S back) Oh, I hope so. (to MR. RIGHT) No offense. [FOYER / MAIN HALL -- CONTINUOUS] (PHOEBE opens the front door and finds a grim-looking DARRYL on the porch. She lets him in.) PHOEBE: Hey, Darryl. Now's not really a good time. (He steps inside and closes the door behind him.) DARRYL: I'm here about Chris. PHOEBE: Yeah. He told me you covered for him. That was great. (He looks and sees CHRIS next to PAIGE. From the back, two officers enter the house through the kitchen.) DARRYL: I'm taking him back. CHRIS: What? (The two officers reach CHRIS. PHOEBE puts a hand up to DARRYL.) PHOEBE: Wait. What's going on? DARRYL: (to the OFFICERS) Take him back to county. (The OFFICERS cuff CHRIS.) CHRIS: (to PHOEBE) Hey, a little help here, please. (They lead CHRIS to the front door and out of the house.) PHOEBE: What do you want me to do? PAIGE: Chris, don't worry. We'll figure it out, I promise. PHOEBE: Darryl? DARRYL: No. Don't even ask. This time, it's by the book. You understand? PAIGE: Why? DARRYL: Why? Because I almost got killed covering for you last time, that's why. PAIGE: Ok, but we always almost get killed. DARRYL: Last time was different. Way different. I'm not going through that again. I'm not putting my family through that again. You understand? PHOEBE: We'll have to get him out ourselves. DARRYL: And risk exposing magic? I don't think so. Listen to me, Phoebe. I'm not covering for you anymore. I mean it. (DARRYL turns and walks out of the house.) PHOEBE: (softly) Mmm, could this day get any worse? WHITE FLASH TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE ATTIC] (VINCENT sits at the bookstand reading through something when ELISA walks in.) VINCENT: Well? ELISA: The car's waiting for you, as you wish. VINCENT: Mmm. It's beautiful this time of year, isn't it ... in Florence? ELISA: As good a place as any to kill a Charmed One. VINCENT: It's not for killing one. It's for loving one. For loving Paige. ELISA: But I thought you said that - VINCENT: That's for after, when she's by my side, when I can give her what she wants more than anything -- freedom, independence, power. ELISA: But doesn't she already have power? VINCENT: Not the kind that gives her independence. ELISA: Still, with all due respect, how do you know what she wants? VINCENT: Because it's what I want. We are one and the same. I exist solely to please her. And I intend on doing exactly that. ELISA: How will you get to her? VINCENT: I won't have to. She'll come to me. After all, she knows my every move. CUT TO: [INT. MAGIC SCHOOL - GREAT HALL - DAY] (PIPER sits on her seat on the couch writing in her notebook as LEO puts a book down on the table and openly watches her. He sighs. PIPER stops writing and glances at him. Busted.) PIPER: What? LEO: (nervously) Uh ... nothin'. (He looks down for a moment. When he looks back up at her, PIPER hasn't moved. She's still looking at him. He smiles.) LEO: What? PIPER: Nothing. I mean, thanks for helping with this. LEO: Well, he's my son, too. PIPER: Yeah? Well, what about your other son? How are you and Chris getting along? Better? LEO: I hope so. I don't know. It is so hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that he has issues with me because he hasn't even technically been born yet. PIPER: Well, that's our boy. And hopefully, you'll get a second chance with him. LEO: Hopefully. What about with you? I mean, we haven't even really talked about us ... since we ... well, you know. PIPER: Yeah, I do know. LEO: Have you thought about it? PIPER: Of course I have, a lot, but honestly, I can't even go there. I mean, it's not an option, is it? You're still an Elder. (PAIGE orbs into the room.) PAIGE: Hey. I'm not interrupting, am I? PIPER: Actually, kind of, as a matter of fact, you are. Could you -- PAIGE: Sorry. (She walks over to LEO.) I have to talk to Leo about something real quick. (whispers to him) Come with me. PIPER: All right, that's it. What is going on? PAIGE: Nothing. PIPER: Come on. I'm pregnant, not stupid. What is it? (LEO looks at PAIGE who shrugs.) LEO: Uh, well, we didn't want to alarm you, but there is a demon consolidating powers using charmed knowledge. PIPER: What? PAIGE: Yeah, and see, the problem is I kind of conjured him, the Mr. Right version of him and-- PIPER: Wait, wait, wait. Mr. Right as in MY Mr. Right? PAIGE: No. That would be gross. My Mr. Right. LEO: Paige, there are rules -- PAIGE: Oh, please. Listen--anyway, you guys are confusing me. That's not why I'm here. I came to tell you Chris has been arrested. It's a long story. LEO: Did you call Darryl? PAIGE: Yes, that would be the other problem, because Darryl arrested him. Longer story. PIPER: Ok, take me home. LEO: No, no, no. It's too dangerous. You stay here. PIPER: I can't stay here when all hell is breaking loose there. LEO: Stay here. You save one son, I'll go save the other. CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - DAY] (PHOEBE stands at the potions table checking the Book of Shadows. She reaches over and tucks an ingredient into the potions pot.) (MR. RIGHT knocks lightly on the attic door frame to get her attention.) MR. RIGHT: Can I come in? PHOEBE: Shouldn't you be off peeling Paige a grape or something? MR. RIGHT: She doesn't like grapes. Uh, actually, she's not back yet. What are you doing? PHOEBE: I'm making a vanquishing potion for your evil twin, or at least I'm trying to. MR. RIGHT: Maybe I can help. PHOEBE: I think you've done enough already, thank you. MR. RIGHT: Ok. Look, I know you're mad at her and me, and you have every right to be. PHOEBE: I know. MR. RIGHT: But you know Paige. She doesn't think it's fair for magic to take away so much from you guys without ever giving anything back. PHOEBE: Yeah, but that still doesn't justify-- MR. RIGHT: (interrupts) I know. It doesn't. But she was going crazy. She was overloaded. She didn't wanna complain. She didn't want you to have to feel guilty for having lost your powers. Just don't stay mad at her too long, ok? It hurts her, Phoebe. She looks up to you a lot more than you know. PHOEBE: Really? MR. RIGHT: Yeah. I think you're missing one key ingredient for this potion to work - (He takes a pin off of the pin cushion.) -- my blood. After all, it's his, too. (He pricks his finger. PHOEBE watches and winces.) PHOEBE: Ouch. Doesn't that hurt? MR. RIGHT: No. I only feel what Paige feels. After all, I'm not real. Although ... (sighs) ... the more I come back, the more I wish I was. (PAIGE and LEO orb into the attic. PAIGE immediately begins her apology.) PAIGE: Phoebe, I thought about it, and I just wanted to say that you're right - - (PHOEBE holds up and hand.) PHOEBE: Stop. You apologized already. It's ok. (PAIGE smiles and glances at MR. RIGHT.) PAIGE: Oh. PHOEBE: Ok, so we have the potion. All we need is the demon. LEO: Any idea who he'll go after next? PAIGE/MR. RIGHT: (both) Kimoto demon. PAIGE: I like the way you think. MR. RIGHT: Right back at you. PHOEBE: Eww. CUT TO: [EXT. ALLEYWAY - DAY] (Open on a big pile of white dust on the alley floor. PAIGE, PHOEBE and LEO orb into the alley and immediately see the pile of demon dust.) LEO: Looks like we're too late. VINCENT: Actually, you're right on time. (VINCENT steps out into the open. He smiles at PAIGE who has suddenly gone very still.) VINCENT: So glad you could make it. LEO: Paige, throw the potion. (PAIGE doesn't move.) VINCENT: (to PAIGE) You wouldn't hurt me, would you? (A white magical glow washes over PAIGE.) LEO: Paige ... PHOEBE: Give me that. (PHOEBE grabs the potions vial out of PAIGE'S hand and throws it at VINCENT. The vial hits the ground, a large white cloud rising up harmlessly in front of him.) VINCENT: Sorry. Paige didn't conjure me to go away until it's time. (He steps through the dissipating cloud toward them and orbs out.) (He immediately orbs in behind PAIGE.) VINCENT: You can't resist me, remember? (PHOEBE and LEO turn around just in time to see VINCENT orb out with PAIGE. When they're gone, PHOEBE and LEO look at each other.) CUT TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE PAIGE'S ROOM] (VINCENT and PAIGE orb in.) PAIGE: What's going on? Where am I? (She looks around the room which is an exact duplicate of her bedroom.) VINCENT: You're home, Paige. FADE OUT (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [INT. MANOR - SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY-- DAY] (PHOEBE rants as LEO and MR. RIGHT follow her.) PHOEBE: "Use my blood," you said. "It's his blood, too," you said. MR. RIGHT: How was I supposed to know the potion wouldn't work? (PHOEBE turns the corner and starts up the attic stairs.) PHOEBE: I thought you knew him. MR. RIGHT: No. I said I knew Paige. There's a difference. PHOEBE: What? Testicles? I thought you guys were like three peas in a pod. MR. RIGHT: No. Paige is real. We're not, remember? LEO: He's right. She didn't make them vulnerable because she didn't want them to go away. MR. RIGHT: Until it's time. PHOEBE: (sits down on the stairs) Well, we have to find her before midnight. God knows what he'll do to her by then. MR. RIGHT: He won't hurt her. He loves her. That much I know. That's why she went with him. PHOEBE: Yeah, but why is she staying? Why hasn't she orbed out of there? I mean, she may want a lot of crazy things, but she'd never want to be with a demon. MR. RIGHT: Don't count on it. Paige has a dark side like everybody else. He's appealing to that, to what she secretly wants. LEO: And what is that? MR. RIGHT: To be free, independent, to be able to use her magic without fear of consequence. That's extremely seductive to her. PHOEBE: And so are those pheromones, I bet. MR. RIGHT: Especially when used by evil. PHOEBE: We got to figure out a way to vanquish this guy. LEO: But how? She made him invincible. MR. RIGHT: Then why not make him real? Break our magical bond. PHOEBE: I'm sorry? MR. RIGHT: It's what Paige would do if she was here. I mean, I know it's ... wacky, but it might work. LEO: Certainly would make him vulnerable to a potion. PHOEBE: Guys, this is not Pinocchio. We can't make things real. MR. RIGHT: We're not making things real. Just him. And he's already halfway there just by being conjured. I know you can do it, Phoebe. PHOEBE: Thanks, "Paige". Still, it doesn't help us to find her. LEO: Maybe we can, or at least maybe Chris can, like before. PHOEBE: Have you forgotten he's in jail? LEO: Not for long, he's not. (LEO orbs out of the room.) PHOEBE: (sighs and get to her feet) Well, looks like I'm the last sister standing now. You, come on. (She wags her finger at MR. RIGHT, turns and walks up the stairs to the attic. MR. RIGHT follows her.) CUT TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE ATTIC / PAIGE'S ROOM] (He steps into PAIGE'S duplicate bedroom after showing her around. PAIGE follows him.) VINCENT: It's an exact duplicate, exactly as you know it. Of course, given time, I can recreate the entire house ... for you. Well ... What do you think? PAIGE: My head's still spinning. VINCENT: It's hard for you to accept when good things happen to you, I know, but this is everything you've ever dreamed about, wanted. Instead of fighting you, the demons will bow down to your feet. Instead of reigning in your powers, you can use them, at will. You're free. Unchallenged. Loved. PAIGE: Why "Vincent"? VINCENT: You don't remember? The name of your first love. A boy who promised you the world. Now you've got it. PAIGE: But what about my - VINCENT: Your sisters? They're a burden, aren't they? Forever forcing you to sacrifice yourself, your needs, for them. PAIGE: You're right. It's not fair. VINCENT: No, it's not. And unfortunately, unless we do something, they'll try to stop us, won't they? CUT TO: [INT. POLICE STATION - BULLPEN / DARRYL'S OFFICE - DAY] (The bullpen door opens and LEO walks in. DARRYL is leaning against a desk and going through some papers.) LEO: We need to talk. DARRYL: Hello, Leo. I knew you'd show up sooner or later. (DARRYL puts down the papers and heads into his office. LEO follows him.) LEO: Darryl, Paige is in trouble. (LEO shuts the door.) A demon took her, and I need Chris to help find her. DARRYL: Sorry. I can't help you. LEO: What is that supposed to mean? DARRYL: Exactly what it sounds like. Look, I told the girls, and now I'm telling you -- I'm not doing it anymore. Forget it. LEO: Look, I understand-- DARRYL: No, you don't understand. It's over, Leo. When those beings who erase memories allowed me to remember what happened after last time ... I changed. I saw the light. This is your fight. It's not mine. LEO: Well, I am fighting to try and save my sons. They are in trouble. Wyatt might be in trouble, too. You're a father-- DARRYL: I'm a cop. And all I know -- all I'm supposed to know is ... Chris got caught stealing a car. That's it. Son or no son, he's busted. LEO: Sooner or later, they are gonna figure out who he is, and then what, huh? DARRYL: It's not my problem. Excuse me. (DARRYL opens the door and leaves.) CUT TO: [INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - JAIL CELL] (Hidden by the shadows, CHRIS sits on the bottom bunk bed, his arms on his knees tucked in close to his chest, his forehead resting on his arms. A GUARD doing bed checks walks past the cell door.) (When gone, LEO orbs in. CHRIS lifts his head back against the wall.) CHRIS: Took you long enough. (LEO glances down the hallway in the direction the guard just went.) LEO: Shh. Not so loud. I'm getting you out of here. CHRIS: Great. So Darryl's gonna cover? LEO: Forget about Darryl. Come on. (CHRIS sits up and looks at LEO.) CHRIS: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're just gonna orb out of here? What about exposure? LEO: Right now I'm more worried about them exposing you. CHRIS: Yeah, but-- LEO: Look, son, I'm not gonna let you hang here, ok? Now come on. You got an aunt to save. (For a long moment, CHRIS stares at LEO. He gets to his feet.) CHRIS: Thanks, Dad. (LEO orbs out; CHRIS orbs out as well.) CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC -- DAY] (PHOEBE adds the final ingredient to the potions pot. PHOEBE jumps at the small explosion, a small cloud of smoke rises from the pot. She swooshes the smoke away.) MR. RIGHT: Does that mean it's done? (PHOEBE starts to fill the vial.) PHOEBE: Or overdone. I'm not so sure about this. MR. RIGHT: Well, why don't we try it out? On me. PHOEBE: Are you kidding? It might kill you. MR. RIGHT: Well, then at least you'd know I was real. Look, if it works on me, it's gonna work on him, right? (PHOEBE fills the vial, caps it and shakes it.) PHOEBE: Okay. (MR. RIGHT waits. PHOEB drops the vial at his feet sending a cloud of magic up along him. His eyes-widen as the magic overcomes him.) PHOEBE: How do you feel? MR. RIGHT: Alive. (He walks around the attic toward the table and sees the athame. He picks it up.) PHOEBE: What are you doing? MR. RIGHT: Seeing how much I feel. (He slices the palm of his hand and immediately feels the pain.) MR. RIGHT: Ow! PHOEBE: "Ow" is good, though, right? "Ow" means you're ... (He bounces excitedly on his feet.) MR. RIGHT: I'm real! (laughs) I can't believe it. This is amazing! You have no idea what you've done for me, Phoebe. PHOEBE: (suspiciously) I hope you didn't just trick me into doing that. MR. RIGHT: No, but I did help you realize you're not as powerless as you thought. (She realizes that he's right.) (CHRIS and LEO orb into the attic.) PHOEBE: Chris, you're out. CHRIS: Yeah. Thank god. LEO: So how's that potion coming? Did it work? MR. RIGHT: Perfectly. (He holds up his bloodied hand and proudly shows them his cut.) LEO: Ok, great. (to PHOEBE) Chris has an idea on how you can find Paige. PHOEBE: Me? CHRIS: You're gonna have to sneak in. LEO: And then once you're in, we'll bring you the potion that makes the demon real. (The men look at her as if it's a great plan. PHOEBE'S almost afraid to ask.) PHOEBE: And how exactly am I going to sneak in? CUT TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE ATTIC] (A group of leather-clad, blonde-haired DEMONATRICES. VINCENT steps out in front of the group.) VINCENT: You're right on time. ELISA: My aim is to please. Where's Paige? VINCENT: Coming. (We see PHOEBE - blonde-haired and leather-clad just like the other demonatrices – standing unnoticed in the back of the group.) VINCENT: You know, of course, that she can't be a part of this, at least, not directly. They are, after all, still her sisters. ELISA: (nods) I understand. (PAIGE orbs in with PIPER. She immediately takes her place next to VINCENT as PIPER notices where they are.) PIPER: Paige, what are we doing here? PAIGE: You know how I've always felt tied down? Well, I thought you'd like to know how that feels. Rope! (PIPER'S wrists are suddenly bound together with rope.) PIPER: What the hell are you doing? (Without a word, PAIGE and VINCENT head into the bedroom. She ignores PIPER.) PIPER: Paige? (VINCENT motions with his hand and the door to the bedroom appears, blocking the passage and leaving PIPER alone with the DEMONATRICES.) (PIPER glances back over her shoulder knowing that the DEMONATRICES are there.) PIPER: Paige? FADE OUT (COMMERCIAL SET) FADE IN. [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE ATTIC] (ELISA holds up a throwing star. She flicks it open and smirks at PIPER.) PIPER: (calls out) Leo? Chris? (Nothing happens.) (ELISA raises her arm to throw the star when something hits her from behind. Her eyes widen with surprise as she's consumed by fire.) (PIPER uses the distraction and runs to find a place to hide. When ELISA'S gone and the smoke clears, PHOEBE looks around at the other demonatrices.) PHOEBE: Oops. I missed! (PHOEBE quickly turns and throws a star at an unsuspecting DEMONATRIX to her left. The demon explodes.) (PIPER looks around for somewhere to hide.) (Another DEMONATRIX throws a star at PHOEBE and inadvertently hits another DEMONATRIX.) (PHOEBE kicks and knocks two DEMONATRICES down to the floor. She hurries over to PIPER who turns around and screams, not recognizing her.) PHOEBE: It's just me! It's Phoebe! PIPER: Wh - (PIPER looks at PHOEBE'S outfit.) Phoebe? (She starts laughing.) Are you here to save me or kill me? PHOEBE: I haven't decided yet. Turn around. (PHOEBE unties PIPER'S hands.) PHOEBE: Ok. (PIPER turns to look at PHOEBE.) PIPER: Is there a plan involved in any of this? PHOEBE: Well, there was until Chris and Leo didn't respond to your call. PIPER: Great. CUT TO: [INT. MANOR - ATTIC - DAY] (LEO stands in the middle of the attic, his eyes closed from concentrating. He lets out a breath and opens his eyes.) LEO: Something's wrong. I can't sense her. (He turns to look at CHRIS who leans against the table in the back.) CHRIS: I'm going back down there. LEO: No, you can't. CHRIS: Leo, she needs the potion, all right? LEO: It's too dangerous. I'm not risking you, too. Phoebe'll figure it out, she always finds a way. CUT TO: [INT. VINCENT'S LAIR - DUPLICATE ATTIC] (A group of DEMONATRICES walk around the attic looking for PIPER and PHOEBE who are hiding behind a wall.) PIPER: Let me just see if I can get a clear shot. PHOEBE: And risk exposing the baby? Absolutely not. This is what we're gonna do. I-I am going to go after the two on the right first. PIPER: Ok, then what? PHOEBE: Then go after the two on the left. PIPER: Oh, sure. PHOEBE: Ok, ready? PIPER: No. PHOEBE: Go! PIPER: No! (PHOEBE runs out. Two DEMONATRICES throw stars at PIPER. PIPER deflects the throwing stars toward PHOEBE and freezes them in front of her.) (She waves her hands and blows the two DEMONATRICES to dust.) (PHOEBE picks the two throwing stars out from mid-air and throws them at the two remaining DEMONATRICES, vanquishing them as well.) PIPER: Hey, not bad for a chick who can't levitate. PHOEBE: We're not done yet. PIPER: But you said you didn't have the potion. PHOEBE: (confidently) We don't need it. (PHOEBE turns and heads for the bedroom. PIPER follows her.) [DUPLICATE PAIGE'S ROOM -- CONTINUOUS] (PAIGE and VINCENT are kissing when the door opens. PHOEBE bursts into the room.) PHOEBE: All right, break it up, you two! VINCENT: Phoebe. I'm impressed. I underestimated you. PHOEBE: Really? Well, that means she did, too, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. PHOEBE: Blow him up. PIPER: Huh? VINCENT: You can't. I'm not real, remember? PHOEBE: I'm betting on if Mr. Right is real, then so are you. (murmurs out the side of her mouth to PIPER) Just do it. (PIPER waves her hands; VINCENT explodes. A white magical glow washes over PAIGE. She looks at PIPER and PHOEBE.) PAIGE: What are you wearing? (PHOEBE smiles and shakes her head.) CUT TO: [INT. MAGIC SCHOOL - GREAT HALL - NIGHT] (PIPER sits on the couch continuing as she's done before, going through various books, scrolls and pieces of parchment as WYATT plays quietly on the floor at her feet.) (LEO orbs in.) (WYATT looks up and sees him letting PIPER know who it is.) WYATT: Da-dah. LEO: Hey, slugger. How's your mommy doing? Is she all right? PIPER: As long as one of her sisters doesn't try to kill her again, she'll be fine. LEO: Well, now you know why we didn't tell you about it. (He takes the seat next to her on the couch.) PIPER: I'm glad you did, otherwise I'd be totally in the dark when Paige kidnapped me. LEO: Have you forgiven her yet? PIPER: No. Not to her face, anyway, but that's okay. She can suffer a little bit. So what's going on with Chris? LEO: The car salesman dropped the charges. He had a sudden loss of memory. (chuckles) Wouldn't testify. Go figure. PIPER: Leo? LEO: Look, magic was already exposed, so I had to do something, right? PIPER: You know, you're a good father. LEO: Yeah? Thanks. I hope you say that again in twenty-three years. I, uh, wonder where we'll be then. (She looks at him.) PIPER: Me, too. CUT TO: [EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR (STOCK) - NIGHT] [INT. MANOR - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT] (PAIGE sits in the chair thinking as a warm fire burns in the fireplace. PHOEBE turns the corner and walks into the room finding her there.) PHOEBE: Hey, sweetie. PAIGE: Hey. How you doing? How's the column? Did you finish? PHOEBE: I did, just barely, but at least "Sad in San Jose" won't be so sad anymore. (PHOEBE sits on the table PAIGE: See, you didn't need your powers to give good advice. Wait a second. You didn't get your powers back, did you? PHOEBE: No, and I'm not in any hurry to, either. I think we've both been relying on our powers a bit too much, don't you? PAIGE: Ah, subtle, very subtle. That's what I like about you. (PHOEBE chuckles.) All the same, I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking. PHOEBE: Well, you were thinking that you needed a break, and those needs came from a real place. You just have to figure out a way to honor them without using magic. (MR. RIGHT steps out from the hallway. PAIGE looks up at him.) PAIGE: Got any advice for him? PHOEBE: No. You're on your own with that one. (PHOEBE gets to her feet to leave the room. She pats MR. RIGHT on his shoulder as she brushes by him.) PHOEBE: (to MR. RIGHT) Good luck. MR. RIGHT: Thanks. (He walks over to PAIGE who stands up.) PAIGE: Hey. MR. RIGHT: Hey. PAIGE: You all set? MR. RIGHT: To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I'm a little nervous. PAIGE: Oh, well, don't worry. Leo will take good care of you. He's the best, and after all, he's come and gone from this world several times. MR. RIGHT: So have I, thanks to you. PAIGE: Well, don't thank me just yet. If you're anything like me, and I have a sneaking suspicion that you are, you might get into a little bit of trouble out there. MR. RIGHT: Well, if I'm anything like you, I can handle it, right? (He looks down and nods slightly. He looks at her.) MR. RIGHT: Will I ever see you again? PAIGE: Only if you get in too much trouble. (She reaches up and kisses him on the cheek.) MR. RIGHT: Well ... PAIGE/MR. RIGHT: (both) Take care. (They both share a laugh.)
